Nailease

Hello! hope you all had a fabby new year!

i've quickly stuck on nailease... i think these are fab!! i also have the kisses http://www.nailease.co.uk/ they are pretty simple to apply and look good i think! they also feel very shiny, the photo here is before i have put a top coat on (you dont need to it just makes me feel secure!! - silly i know!!) anyway, these are easy to apply and look good and they actual last unlike some i've heard the Myleene Klass ones arent as good! my friend had these on and the colour fadded fast, not sure if that was just the heart ones tho! I would recommend the nail ease ones for sure! I also have a few packs of nail rock, the old ones you need to heat (i never done that cause i could never be bothered sitting with my hair dryer out!!) and the new ones, i will try these out soon and let you know my thoughts!!

i also had a fab pink spotty girly mani with bows and all but i broke my phone and dont have the photo of it!!!! Very gutted, if i find it i will upload

Matte Flowers

Evening all!! so after my matte discovery today i thought i should try it out! i was planing on doing a few clouds and diasies but this ended up being some dots and flowers!! my clouds werent doing what i wanted! anyway, this was pretty simple! Step by step...

2 Blue/Teal Colours (I used Barry M Cyan Blue & Rimmel 60sec Sky High)
1. Paint i choose my favourite for the pinky, middle and thumb - accent fingers are good too!
2. Wait until throughly dry, i gave mines about 20mins and paint matte top coat
3. Use a dotting tool (or cocktail stick/cirby/pin/pen)to create flowers i usually just do 4 dots, also i added a few extra tiny dots to fill the spaces
4. next choose middle colours i done 3 pinks (models own bubblegum, models own pastel pink, rimmel urban princess) and use your tool to dot the centre.
5. once this is all dry apply matte top coat once more and perfecto! if you have any mistakes or issues (i had to put my hair up too soon to go out after i done mines and had a little smudge!! best way to do it is to fill in the little smudge with the base coat and add a flower or dot, thats how i do it but if you are a complete perfectionist you may want to start again! hope this helps guys.

Tape Mani

Hello! i thought i better fill this all up with my last few nail idea's since my blog is looking super empty!! i tried out a tape mani inspired by nailside http://nailside.blogspot.com/p/tutorials.html my first attempt wasnt the greatest and to be honest i was pretty sleepy! My best piece of advice is follow this step by step and make sure you read it! me being me didnt and fired ahead thats why its not looking so hot!! the thumb is my favourite!

Matte Top Coat

Hello!

So i have been wanting a matte polish for ages however always grudged paying £10 for the e matte one so i was in boots and bough the revlon lycra pro matte finnish polish and i'm impressed! have a look and see what you think! it was £4.00 something however they had an offer for 2 for £6 so i got that another another base coat! Cant complain can i?!

One more... First Ever Minnie Mani!

One final thing before i actually go to bed, this was my first minnie mani! May i add it was with a cocktail stick.... no dotting tools!!! its not the greatest but you get the idea

Hello! I'm Lisa, I'm a newbie, i feel a little like i am at my first day of school and being made to stand on front of the class and tell them about myself, not such a good idea when i have no audience and alot of time on my hands! Anyway, i am not a professional in anyway (you will soon see!!) i just cannot stand my nails not being painted, it makes me feel uneasy!! anyway, i will upload a few photos of recent nails as soon as i get the hang of this little guy!!
